Arch and I are counting down the days.

We have acquired two extra green bandanas (all to do with not having my own car for the last couple of walks...and, where do I keep the bandana so I don't forget to bring it on the walk? Yes, in my car). So, if anyone wouldn't mind taking a used-once bandana, please let me know beforehand or take one from me at the beginning of the next walk. I know they're free from Ivan but recycling them will save him some cash.

I must apologise for Archie joining the group off-lead and unaccompanied last month. I met Ivan in the car park and he said I'd missed the boat as I had turned up late. I assumed everyone had gone on, so I just let Arch out of the car, then had to go back for a poo bag...and was then mortified when I saw everyone in the meeting up area just away from the car park, all dogs on leads and waiting patiently, apart from being harassed by "an Archie"....special apologies to Betty's mum (Betty and Archie are like Kathy and Heathcliff), whose arm was being wrenched out of its socket, so keen was Betty to resume play with Arch.

See you all soon and, meantime have a great time at the Fun Day, those of you who are going.

Here are some photos of today's walk. Rather on the chilly side today but the dogs had a fantastic time. Great to see some new faces too.

Thank you to Ivan who organised the walk, collected the donations and kept an eye on the dogs to make sure the walk went without a hitch and was enjoyed by all.

We arrived early this time and were the first in the meeting area. I sat in the shelter of a large sweet chestnut tree. Archie waited so patiently for his friends to arrive, "C'mon, where are they?":

Buddy, Betty and Archie

Archie and Jaz, a Dalmatian x Greyhound - handsome boy

Sharon has just reminded me that this is young Mason. He was with Sharon for 3 weeks and was adopted about 2 weeks ago. He got on really well in the company of all the other dogs. Well done, Mason!

Archie and Betty (aka Heathcliff and Kathy): "Ok, a quick kiss while mum and dad aren't looking."

The GSDxHusky is called Rosie. Hold that image of her for later.....

Rosie again...not smelling quite so rosy! Ah well, it's good for the complexion I suppose.

By the way that water was cold I had to go in after a springer on the bridge where the deep water is so pleased it swam to me so I didn't have to go to deep myself, he just needed a hand up the bank

Just had another look at the photos.
I really like the first one of Archie waiting for his friends.
Mason looks as if he has grown in a short space of time.
