Petition Against Harrods Selling Puppies
No responsible, caring, ethical breeder would sell their puppies to a pet shop therefore the vast majority of pet shop puppies come from puppy farms. These might well be licensed breeders but their dogs are often kept in very poor conditions with a very poor level of care.

The breeding stock does not normally have the relevant health checks for hereditary diseases that a responsible breeder would do to ensure that healthy puppies grow into healthy adult dogs. There is also the stress involved and the risk of infection through transporting puppies from their place of birth to the place of sale and then keeping them in a very unnatural environment.

The Petition
We the undersigned call on Harrods to set an example as they are such a high profile store and stop selling puppies.
