Bumping this up for the next walk. I do hope there will be more than 12 dogs there this time. Please support this worthy cause.

We had a fantastic time with Diesel today and actually let him off the lead for a lot of the way. He behaved excellently as did the other dogs, so was really glad I managed to get Alfie out of bed to take him!

We had a great time this morning as well with our three. Although I've now realised that having arrived late and then being preoccupied with watering the dogs at the end we failed to give Paula any money shame I'll make sure we give double next time!

Archie and I really enjoyed the walk this morning. It was a very good turnout of about 25-30 dogs and it was great to see some "old" faces again and several new ones. Welcome to the newcomers - I hope you all enjoyed the walk and we look forward to seeing you on the next walk on 19 June.

Today we raised a healthy £57. I put this together with the £37 we raised for April's walk and handed over £94 to Vets4Pets which will go towards the vet's bills for the rescue dogs. Thank you to everyone who came along to support this worthy cause.

Here are the pics I took....In the swamp-monster competition, the undisputed champion was Oscar, followed by Charlie and Dodger. You will see their competition entries below!

Below: Third place in the Swamp Monster competition is Dodger (on left)

Below: Emerging from the swamp - Swamp Monster champion Oscar (at the back), with second placed Charlie in front of Oscar
